Women’s Brunch

March is women’s month and what better way to celebrate women than to come together as a unit and pour into young women right in our own community. That’s exactly what Johnson College prep did. They hosted their second annual Women’s Empowerment Brunch. There was a panel of successful women who were willing to sacrifice they time and energy to spread knowledge to a group of girls from the ages of 14 years of age to 18 years old. Can we say black girl magic! To see so much love in one room was indeed a sight to see. I love to see things like this take place, with so much negativity all over television and social media in regards of women and in particular black women, we tend to forget that there is still good in this world. The girls were truly intrigued and inspired by these women and their stories. It is so important that we build our youth up and set them up for success. Keep up the good work Johnson College Prep! Until next time, peace and blessings. Xoxo. #Blackgirlmagic
